Discover Bordeaux

Thursday 30 May 2013

,

We were awarded in July 2010 with official accreditation from l'Ecole du Vin in Bordeaux as an official Bordeaux educator and ambassador. We are delighted to host another Bordeaux tasting focussing on the fantastic wines that can be found in this famous and diverse region.

The classic wine region of Bordeaux is home to many black grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc producing some of the instantly recognised names such as Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. In addition we find white grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon producing wonderful refreshing dry whites such as Entre-deux-Mers and Pessac-Leognan with the added touch of the most lauded sweet wine in the world, Sauternes.

The tasting will unearth the difference between general Bordeaux wine and Grand Cru Classe with everything in between. This is a tasting not to be missed!
