As is our habit we will be looking at a Red Bordeaux vintage in its tenth year. Understandably one gets a far better feeling about a vintage from this sort of age compared with the tomes that are written about en primeur examples and in their first 2-3 years of life. 2006 is a good vintage that’s only sin was to be after the great 2005 vintage. A bit like 1988 one has to look at the top end for the real successes and obviously we will be doing that and aim to show.
