Handford Wine 5 decades of Chateau Pichon Longueville Baron (2005-1967)

This is the 14th chateau we have shown in this 5 Decades series and it is a bit remiss that it has taken so long before getting to this one. Generally seen as the masculine style compared with Pichon Lalande’s feminine side and for a good amount of time rightly seen as the poor relation despite both being 2nd growths. Having said that, from the mid-1980s Pichon Baron has been in fantastic form and deservedly getting a super second tag and one of Pauillac’s most consistent producers. There will be a terrific line up.
