The untimely passing of Anne Claude Leflaive earlier this year was a huge loss to the world of wine. Aptly known as the Grand Dame of Burgundy she was at the helm of, without doubt, the most famous estate in Puligny-Montrachet since the early 1990’s. Domaine Leflaive produces superb wines that combine richness and depth of fruit with elegance, refinement and perfect balance that reflect the region’s propitious terroir.

Domaine Leflaive produces wines that are not only remarkably consistent but also gorgeous and exhilarating. She will leave a legacy as a pioneer of the biodynamic movement, Anne Claude converted the whole domaine to biodynamic farming in 1997.Anne Claude was widely revered throughout the industry she was named "the world's top white winemaker" by Decanter magazine in 2006 and the Winemakers' Winemaker by the Institute of Masters of Wine in 2014.James will guide us through a poignant and magical tasting. We will taste a vertical of Pucelles and a 2011 horizontal.
