In this fascinating tasting, we will taste 10 Bourgogne Blanc from an array of Burgundies most respected producers. This will be a great opportunity to see if there is such a thing as truly great value in Burgundy? Because of the extreme variation in terroir, blending, vineyard practices and winemaking competence, one vigneron’s basic Bourgogne Blanc may be better than another’s Premier Cru from a famous vineyard site. This is also a great chance to try some of the big names without over stretching the wallet, many of which are actually quite hard to buy despite their modest appellation status.
