Humble Grape New Spanish Frontier Tasting – Spanish Wines & Tapas

Wednesday 30 January 2013

,

A revolution is underway in Spain ... The battleground? Spain's vineyards!

BOOK: http://bit.ly/BookSpainEvent

Single vineyard bottlings, reduced yields and hard physical work in the vineyards, a softer hand of oak and a focus back to classic native varieties are all part of a revolutionary movement toward quality focused wine production which is sweeping the country.

Join us on a tasting discovery from the wild Monastrell wines of Alicante, the silky violet perfumed Petit Verdot of Andalucia, blockbuster Priorat grown on the famous licorella slate soils plus crisp refreshing Albarino and Verdejo whites from the Galician hills.

All washed down with the finest Spanish tapas and refreshing Cava, of course!

£40 per person: high-quality hand-crafted wines from £9 to £35 rp per bottle with plenty of iberico ham, chorizo, the finest olive oil, artisan bread, olives and farm house cheeses. Evening begins with a glass of bubbly, so don't be late!
