Jancis Robinson on Wine’s New Directions

Wednesday 4 November 2015

,

Described by the Washington Post as: ‘the greatest wine book ever published’, the 4th Edition of The Oxford Companion to Wine comes out in September, nine years after the 3rd edition. New entries such as Hong Kong, indigenous varieties, minerality, natural wines and urban wineries hint at some of the many changes that have been sweeping through the world of wine. After a glass of wine that illustrates one or two of these changes, Jancis Robinson, described by Decanter magazine as ‘the most respected wine critic and journalist in the world’, will bring us up to speed with the latest developments.
