Jimmy's Loire: Part 2 Vouvray

Friday 14 November 2014

,

In July of this year West London Wine School founder, Jimmy Smith, travelled with his trusty VW campervan Jeff around the luscious lands of the Loire Valley visiting domaines and chateaux across the Anjou, Saumur and Touraine. In two very special tastings Jimmy will share with you his findings of the top wines from some of the great producers.. In this tasting we'll discover in great-depth one of Jimmy's passions... Vouvray.

Part 2: Vouvray

Vouvray is the heart of Chenin Blanc, the variety with haunting flavours and superb ability to age. What's really exciting about this tasting is that we'll focus on two mini-verticals, two wines with three vintage of each to experience vintage variation and ageing ability.
