Sicily has had a history of grape growing that stretches back 1000s of years and it is now responsible for 13% of the wine produced in Italy now. Though most is bulk wine, this class will focus in on the wines of the new guard who are producing at a quality never seen before on the Island, particularly on the black volcanic soils of Etna.
