Old World vs New World: A Grape Variety Walkabout

Thursday 15 May 2014

,

A walkabout tasting aimed at celebrating the differences (and similarities) between wines produced in the Old and New Worlds. We’ll be pouring a selection of great wines produced around the globe from five classic international grape varieties – Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Explore at your own pace, discovering what it is about where the wines come from that make them unique and learning to recognise each grape’s individual character. Twenty-five amazing wines will be available, so get there early if you want a chance to try them all.
