Private Collection Showcase: 1997 Piedmont & Tuscan Treasures

We recently acquired a substantial, private collection of prestigious Tuscan and Piedmont wines. This includes over 2,000 selections from the heralded 1997 vintage, which has been given overall regional ratings of 99 WS / 95 WA for Brunello di Montalcino, 97 WA / 94 WS for Super Tuscans and 93 WA / 93 WS for the Barolos and Barbarescos from Piedmont.
We invite you to join us for an exclusive, cellar preview event on Wednesday 31st July. We will be opening a number of highlights from this new collection for you to sample, including bottles from Bruno Giacosa, Ceretto, Aldo Conterno, Angelo Gaja and Ornellaia. The entire collection will be available for purchase on the night.
Noted Italian wine expert, Mr. Walter Speller, will discuss the factors that made 1997 so superlative and lead a discussion on the included producers and how these particular wines are developing.
