Justerini & Brooks has a long & illustrious history of supplying the Royal Household dating back to the 18th Century. One of our greatest achievements has been building up an extensive portfolio of the top wine-growers in Burgundy, work that was started in the 1970s by our Chairman Hew Blair.
On the 24th February we will be presenting red wines from a diverse selection of the region’s most important villages to highlight the diversity of styles and winemaking. The tasting will include an array of wines from the fabled terroirs of Volnay, Nuits-St-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin amongst others, focusing on our favourite producers from each village and spanning the last five vintages from 2007 to 2011, a comparison that should prove fascinating.
Justerinis staff will be pouring the wines ready to answer all of your questions and don’t miss talking to our buying team: Giles Burke-Gaffney, Julian Campbell and Hew Blair, who after spending a great deal of time in Burgundy have many wonderful encounters to share with you.
