This intimate dinner will be hosted by Lorenzo García-Iglesias of Bodegas Tradición and Cristina Recio of Aecovi in the private room of Maysville, one of New York’s best new two-star restaurants. Maysville’s cuisine is nuanced and refined, rooted in the flavors of the American South, and combined with the restaurant’s inviting ambiance, it’s hard to resist becoming a regular here. This was quite possibly the first restaurant we brainstormed for a Sherryfest dinner, simply because the food is so good, so heart warming and so unexpectedly perfect with sherry.
This will be a fascinating opportunity to witness the versatility of sherry at the table, and the private dining room at Maysville provides the perfect setting in which to engage in convivial discussion with Lorenzo and Cristina and learn more about the wines.
