We’re kicking off our series of Sherryfest dinners with a special event at Pearl & Ash, one of NYC’s most exciting new restaurants. This dinner features the Jerez house of Emilio Lustau, renowned for its polished, lively wines, as well as Sánchez Romate, a 230-year-old sherry firm whose excellent wines are not often seen in this country, but which deserve to be better known. We’re delighted to have Cristina Bilbao of Emilio Lustau and Borja Leal of Sánchez Romate here as your hosts, and they will be pouring a stellar range of sherries to pair with chef Richard Kuo’s inventive cuisine.
We’ll be taking over the entire restaurant this evening, and to add to the festivities, Pearl & Ash’s wine director, Patrick Cappiello, will be joined by guest sommelier Carla Rzeszewski, making this kick-off party an event you won’t want to miss!
