Spain and Italy Wine Tasting

Thursday 21 May 2015

A Mediterranean extravaganza of an evening! To represent the full diversity of wines from these countries in one evening is almost impossible, but we will do our very best to try.

Italy was thought of by the Ancient Greeks as land of wine. And the sheer number of different styles and varieties available even today supports that claim. From the mighty Barolo in the North to rustic Primitivo in the South, and a whole host of delicate whites, there really is so much to discover.

And as for Spain, it’s most famous region Rioja produces a great range of wines alone, but the rest of the country has hidden gems that you will definitely be impressed with. And as for the food… well that part you will probably already be a lot more familiar with, but tasting it alongside some great wines is always a fantastic experience.
