We look forward to welcoming the extremely talented Julien Schaal to Handford. Julien is a French winemaker who makes wine in both his native France & Elgin South Africa. He produces some critically acclaimed Grand Cru Riesling in Alsace. He also has a talent for producing beautiful Chardonnay in Elgin South Africa. Julien must be one of the hardest working men in wine, producing wines in two continents since his mid-twenties. At Handford we have been big fans of his exceptional and incredibly well-assembled Chardonnays that come from cool, high altitude vines in the fashionable region of Elgin.
