Organise under the auspices of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux a tasting will take place bringing together the finest wines of Bordeaux’s Left and Right Bank and offering to all wine enthusiasts
The Weekend des Grands Crus will celebrate its 10th edition in Bordeaux on the 30 and 31 May 2015.
On Saturday 30th, a tasting will take place bringing together the finest wines of Bordeaux’s Left and Right Bank and offering to all wine enthusiasts the opportunity to taste two vintages of 119 great wines under one roof in the historic centre of Bordeaux.
On the same day, dinners with Châteaux owners will be organized in their estates. This year, the Châteaux that will be hosting these dinners are: Châteaux Malartic-Lagravière, Climens, Canon, La Dominique, Léoville Barton and Clerc Milon.
On Sunday 31st, a day tour will be organized in the vineyards. It will include the visit of three prestigious Châteaux as well as lunch in one of them. There will be three different tours: Médoc / Saint-Emilion and Pomerol / Graves and Sauternes.
The wine lovers and golf amateurs will have the opportunity to participate to the Union des Grands Crus Golf Trophy at the Garden Golf Margaux.
To celebrate its 10th edition, a horse-riding tour will also be organized in the vineyard. It will include the visit of two Châteaux as well as lunch in one of them.
The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux is an association consisting of 134 Grands Crus which organizes about 80 tastings per year around the world for professionals (trade and press) and consumers.
