Vineyard bus trip

Sunday 11 August 2013

,

Spend the day tasting Pennsylvania wine, and let someone else do the driving!

Our next bus trip is August 11th, and we'll be heading to Kutztown, Berks County – home of the folk festival, Pinnacle Ridge Winery, and nearby Blair Vineyards.

We'll meet at Jet Wine Bar at 11am for a sparkling send off, then board the bus for the vineyards.

We will stop at Blair Vineyards, which is known for their superb Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir wines. After our tasting, we will provide a picnic lunch to be enjoyed on their grounds. As an added bonus, they will be celebrating their anniversary on the 11th with live music and festivities!

Our next stop will be at Pinnacle Ridge, just down the road. They are also known for their Pinot Noir, and excel with one of my favorite grapes – Chambourcin – as well as many other reds and whites.

We will board the bus for Philly at 4:30, well-sated and with new aquisitions for the wine cellar!

Your $65 ticket includes transportation, tasting costs, lunch, and a glass of sparkling wine at Jet.
