Informal tasting: Rhoning Around
Vinoteca Farringdon
Tuesday 25th March 2014, 6-9pm
The Rhone Valley wasn’t satisfied with just giving us mysterious Chateauneuf du Pape, juicy Cotes du Rhone, peppery Crozes Hermitage and fragrant, delicate Condrieu. Oh no. Instead, it took its grapes and its styles, spread them all over the world, and started a Rhone Revolution. We’ve gathered some original examples and some of our Rhone-inspired favourites from around the globe so you can hit the ground Rhone-ing (sorry).
How it works: we open the wines, you get stuck in. Or, more precisely, arrive anytime between 6 and 9pm (we think you’ll need around an hour or two to get the most out of it), grab a glass and taste your way around some new discoveries. Come by yourself and have a chat to our staff or bring some friends and make an evening of it – the more the merrier.
Tickets are £15 and available from http://shop.vinoteca.co.uk/rhoning-around-25th-march-p-670.html
