Vintage Champagne Tasting Bottle vs Magnum

Thursday 19 May 2016

Following on from the success of our Bottle vs Magnum Prestige Cuvée tasting in October of 2015, we thought it only fair to offer more people the chance to come and taste the same champagne and see how it has aged differently in different bottle sizes. The wine trade is convinced that magnum is the optimum size for enjoying Champagne, but as with anything to do with Wine or Champagne, flavours and tastes are a matter of personal preference and this tasting will I'm sure show that not everyone will agree with the Wine Trade! Each bottle and magnum will be tasted blind and it will be up to the guest to decide which they prefer. Live voting on-line during the evening will hopefully uncover the most popular Champagne size.

Tickets are available on a first come first served basis to 54 guests at £299.00 per person, and will take place on Thursday 19th May 2016 at the wonderful venue of 67 Pall Mall. The tasting will be hosted by Essi Avellan MW author and journalist specialising in Champagne. The details of this tasting event:
