WINE CAR BOOT

WINE CAR BOOT returns to West Handyside Canopy in King’s Cross this month.

Running for three sessions over two days, we’ve got more time, more space, more stuff, more wine. This is the perfect opportunity to do your Christmas shopping and pick your party, Christmas, New Year and 2016 wines.

As well as London’s best independent shops with their top five affordable wines, we’ve got a few special guests alongside. WINERACKD will be showing off ultimate glassware ZALTO and ultimate wine gadget CORAVIN. JANCIS ROBINSON and the JANCISROBINSON.COM team will be there, selling all her best titles including the brand new fourth edition of the ultimate wine book ever, The Oxford Companion to Wine.

We’ll have DRINKER’S CORNER, for anyone who wants to get on their wine box and put the wine world to rights and be running the first CARR’S WATER BISCUIT CHALLENGE [60 second eating competition].

Tickets are £12/session (or £20/two sessions, £30/three) and as normal includes five free tastes, a wine bottle carrier (to fill up with bottles to take home), a Govino outdoor tasting glass and free water to optimise hydration and wine readiness. Guests can top up with more tasting tokens (£1 each) and buy glasses and bottles to drink in and take home – all at very friendly prices.

Joining us for the first time, we’re got Corney & Barrow, Forest Wines from Walthamstow, country dwellers Caviste and Brixton’s New Zealand Cellar. OW Loeb who will be keeping things flowing with their new WINE ON TAP – perfect for festive keg parties and Andrew and Emma Nielsen aka Le Grappin, will be bombing over from Burgundy with a special one-off keg and regular bottles of their super smashable juice.

Bob’s Lobster, charcuterie kings Traiteur, Made of Dough pizza fire-ers, The Greek Larder and Kimchinery with Korean tacos and burritos. Gorge on Cocoa Runners’ world-class selection of single estate chocolate – with limited edition WINE CAR BOOT COLLECTION chocolate boxes to take home and dip into Corte Malgiacca, our friends in Tuscany and their just-pressed-grove-fresh 2015 single estate olive oil.
