Stephen Pannell is simpy one of the most admired and respected wine producers working in Australia today. Most recently, his 2013 Syrah won last year's Jimmy Watson Trophy, the most prestigious and sought after wine award in Australia.

Pannell has worked all over the world, including making wine in Italy with Aldo Vajra in Barolo and in France for Domaine Dujac and Pousse d’Or, before establishing a name for himself with over a decade as chief red wine maker at Hardy's then making the move to his own production in 2004.

He is renowned and loved for not only his nuanced interpretations of McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and Barossa classics, but his innovative work with varities like Nebbiolo and Touriga.

Join us as Stephen talks us through some of his current releases and their regions; head chef Joe Curtis will provide a suitable feast to match these stunning wines.
