Intensive three day accredited course
The WSET Intermediate certificate is intended as a training program in product knowledge for those employed in the drinks industry to improve their knowledge of wines and spirits and for the enthusiast with a serious interest in wine who would like to study in a structured manner. The course covers the wines and spirits of the world and is followed by a one hour multiple choice examination. Wine tasting is a part of every class. There is a strong European focus
Course Programme
- Level 2 Systematic approach to tasting and food and wine matching
- Key wine producing regions around the world
- Key grape varieties
- Sparkling and sweet wine
- Fortified wines plus spirits and liqueurs
This course runs for three days from Monday to Wednesday 10:00am – 5:00pm with the examination on Wednesday the 2nd of April.
