So, here are my notes on well over 100 wines made by members of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux tasted in London in late oct 05 from the relatively controversial 2003 vintage in Bordeaux. This means there are no first growths, alas, nor the snootier properties such as Cos, Montrose and Palmer who don't like to show their wines alongside the rest. Nor are there any garagiste bottlings - and certain members of the UGC such as VCC and Chx Pavie and Pavie Decesse did not show their wines at this tasting.
