Here are my notes, as taken at a memorable tasting in London of some of the Symington family's favourite vintage ports on Sep 14, 2006 described in Reflections on significant ports, past and present . The two oldest wines were served after lunch whereas the others were served, old to young, at a sit down tasting during which the Paul'n'Johnny (Symington) roadshow entertained us with background to the wines and musings on the port trade.
