Rémi Krug (RK in the notes below) presented these vintages in London in late Jan 2007 on the eve of his retirement as chairman and on the occasion of his 65 th birthday (LVMH rules presumably). I got the strong impression that he felt pretty wistful about this and would welcome any invitations to continue to do what he does best: present Krug.   On the other hand we were not treated to encepagement details nor to disgorgement dates, “This is not the Krug story”, he said sternly, although he did venture that “The best collections of old Krug have always been in the UK.” Krug,...
