Following on from yesterday's tasting notes From the vault - Guigal LaLas 1978-89 , a big, sighted tasting of Guigal's famous single-vineyard Côte Rôties, here are notes from another, possibly even more revealing, tasting of these famous, if atypical, wines - blind this time.  It was organised in London by fine-wine traders Bordeaux Index on 10 Mar 1998 and comprised each of the three famous wines - La Mouline, La Landonne and La Turque - first the 1991s, then the 1990s, then the 1989s and finally the 1985s (one of them already on the way down on the basis of the bottle we tasted).
