I firmly believe that the south of France is home to some of the best wine value in the world and outline the special characteristics, positive and negative, of the Languedoc-Roussillon in France's best-kept secret . The following 200+ tasting notes were assembled by me over the last few months and by Tamlyn Currin mainly at Vinisud, the large wine fair held every February in Montpellier.
