Yet more worthwhile German 2009s

Below are more notes on Germany's super-friendly 2009 vintage, all the wines having been tasted in London recently. They include some of those currently on offer from UK wine merchant Tanners, one of the few generalists to take German wine seriously. Another group of wines were made by young Jochen Dreissigacker of Rheinhessen (pictured), a protégé of Klaus Peter Keller and a 29 year old who has taken over his parents' estate and seems absolutely determined to scale yields down to a minimum and to squeeze every ounce of character out of the grapes.
