Below is a rich and, I hope, useful collection of tasting notes on wines in unusually wide commercial distribution, all taken at the first big tasting organised by relatively new UK online wine merchant Their policy is to offer a particularly wide range of wines from the global commercial mainstream, by which I mean mostly wines from established producers that are not usually found in supermarkets but are often found on restaurant wine lists.
