Ch Amélisse/Saintayme 2011 St-Émilion 15.5 Drink 2015-2020
(Sometimes also labelled Saintem.) 100% Merlot, harvested 15-16 September. 30% new oak. Very strawberry. Just a touch reductive. Fluid fruit across the palate. Salty (from the stress hydrique , apparently). Dryish tannins but with a light hand. (JH) 13.8%

Deep cherry crimson, black core. Very toasty, oaky on the nose. Oak overrules the fruit. Dense but dry and just so...
