At the brilliantly organised Wiesbaden presentation of the new vintage of top dry wines by VDP producers (see A miracle of wine service ), Michael Schmidt and I sat side by side and tried to carve up the roster of wines we thought would most interest you.  We will be publishing his reviews in a week or so. These will include many more 2011 Mosels and 2010 Spätburgunders, for example, and basically practically all of the 350 wines that I did not taste except for the Weissburgunders. (Michael devoted two whole days to the tasting whereas I flitted off to China's exciting new wine province Ninxia after one day at the tasting table.)...
