The Wine Society's autumn collection
16 Oct 2012 by Jancis Robinson
As usual, the selection of wines shown by this British wine buying co-operative was inspiring. Wines are shown by colour/style category and then in declining order of score. By running your eye down the prices you will start to see the bargains but a simple  Ctrl + F search for GV identifies the real steals in my view. Note the VGVs (very good value) and even the odd VVGV. I particularly appreciated the wide range of different price levels. There were some very smart wines but I was also most impressed by a £5.50 South African Chardonnay, a Navarra Graciano at £6.75, and the £7.95 Moueix red bordeaux about which I raved here...
