You know when you look in a cupboard and find a jewel lurking in the shadows at the back? Somehow this collection of reviews of 50 current Argentine wines has been overlooked until now, even though they were written last September when I tasted the wines at Argentina's annual generic tasting at Lord's cricket ground in London. This was the collection of wines suggested by the producers themselves as particularly good examples of what they are currently making.
