These notes, all taken at a tasting organised by Justerini & Brooks in London last September, are a post scriptum to our extensive coverage of Germany 2011, catalogued in Germany 2011 – the guide . In addition to the 2011s, there were a few older wines, which provided a good contrast, and context, for the young ones. As at the Howard Ripley tasting in June, I concentrated on wines  that our German correspondent Michael Schmidt had not tasted at the Mainz Weinbörse tastings . The timing of this tasting gave most of the wines a few more months in bottle, which seemed to have allowed a little more integration,...
