I don't know about you but I have always been fascinated by Albania. The fact that for so long the country was cut off from its neighbours, a little communist oasis, utterly dependent on China (yes, even way back then) with a premier with the wonderful name of Enver Hoxha. So I was intrigued when I was invited to a tasting, the first ever such tasting abroad, at the Albanian embassy in London last October.
