The following 177 wine reviews are in response to the several requests Purple Pagers have made for more coverage of Loire wines - quite rightly since these are such good value, their natural freshness makes them very much in tune with the style of wine many people are seeking out at the moment, and Loire growers really need a bit more airtime. Furthermore, yields in 2012 were pitifully small in most appellations, with the possible exception of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé in the Central Vineyards.
