Marquis d'Angerville 2011 and 2003

As mentioned in this thread on our Members' forum back in January during the avalanche of burgundy 2011 tastings, Domaine Marquis d'Angerville chose not to show their 2011s at that time. This was the reason for the tasting in London in April this year arranged in heart-warmingly co-operative fashion by d'Angerville's three UK importers Corney & Barrow, Armit and Justerini & Brooks.  Corney's Adam Brett-Smith (who still manages to look elegant as he arrives at the Goring Hotel in full motorbike leathers) explained simply: 'It is easy for wines to get lost in a big tasting.
