I have the best job in the world, I know, and am lucky enough to be served far more than my fair share of fine wine at wonderful wine-focused dinners. But in one nine-day stretch recently, I was lucky enough to attend five of these dinners - all private. I describe them in shamefully boastful detail in Vintage overkill? , but below are my detailed tasting notes on all of these famous wines.
