We have a very special event to present to Purple Pagers later this week. Here is the first of three articles to whet your whistle for great Barolo. Chiara Boschis (pictured here with her niece) must be one of the most glamorous people in Barolo. Armed with a family history of making Barolo and a degree in economics, she started off as early as 1990 as one of the very few women in a male-dominated profession to make her own interpretation of what Nebbiolo should be: powerful and yet elegant and a little flamboyant.
