You have to hand it to the Perrin family of the southern Rhône. They were pioneers of organic viticulture and make a great range of wines from all over the region - from Château de Beaucastel via a widening range of bottlings under the Famille Perrin label from astutely-bought vineyards in some of the best villages of the region to the Vieille Ferme range of inexpensive blends from Luberon and  the increasingly interesting vineyards of Ventoux.
