Transparency I got in the bucket loads on the second part of my Alto Adige road trip at the Unterortl estate high up in the mountains of the Val Venosta, or Vinschgau. The estate specialises in truly heroic viticulture, tending some 12 patches of tiny vineyards clinging to steep slopes at an altitude of between 700 and 800 m, which look impossible to reach.
