Another triumph for Greece

As we approach the Athens Olympics with more wonder than awe, it seems as though I am not the only one with enthusiasm for modern Greek wines. (See Where is Greek wine today? and  My favourite Greek wines.)

 

At a thoroughly impartial public taste-off between Greek wines and similar wines from the Rest of the World held in London last month, Greece triumphed decisively.
