Around the world with Bachelder

Québecois Thomas Bachelder made some pretty good wines at Lemelson in Oregon and was then lured back to Ontario to be the first winemaker for the ambitious Boisset-Vincor project Le Clos Jordanne.

He has now gone solo, or at least with his wife Mary Delaney runs an ambitious operation that makes Chardonnay and a bit of Pinot Noir in Ontario, Oregon andThomas_Bachelder Burgundy. Since these are all in the northern hemisphere, I would have thought this would be a logistical nightmare, but I have tasted the latest crop of results (see below) and it all seems to be coming along...
