Canada seems to have a lot going for it at the moment, and this selection of wines mostly provides yet more proof of her prowess. 

When choosing what to taste at a recent showing in Canada House, London, I decided to concentrate on Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc (plus a few Cab Franc-based blends), Chardonnay, plus a smattering of other varieties, including some sparkling wines and icewines. In every style, there are eloquent examples of both variety and origin, showing how proficient Canada has become at winemaking across many different terroirs.
