While the Consorzio of Chianti Classico has put its entire weight behind the promotion of Gran Selezione (about which I will write tomorrow), the call from producers, importers, sommeliers and wine lovers for a system of subzones based on Chianti Classico’s historic towns has become so loud it can no longer be ignored.
