Current – and deceased – white burgundies

We seem to be discussing white burgundy with some frequency on the forum at the moment, so I thought it might be interesting to publish my notes on a blind tasting of more than 60 white burgundies submitted to British Airways last February for serving in their First Class cabin from now until August 2009.
 
As usual, there was a certain proportion of wines way past their sell by date, submitted in the completely ludicrous hope that we might not notice. And the general standard of Chablis didn’t seem as high as it has done in the past. But...
