Following on from my 15-minute presentation of the story of JancisRobinson.com published on Tuesday, each of our major contributors has made a short video to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We hope you enjoy getting to know them a bit better.
Ruthless nagging on my part has resulted in little films from all over the world: San Francisco Bay, a Sonoma vineyard, a deserted wine bar in Melbourne, a Greek island, an English vineyard, kitchens in the Languedoc and the Buckinghamshire countryside, a Singapore building site, Jerez, a garden in Germany’s Ahr Valley, an Alto Adige vineyard, the hill of Hermitage, elBulli’s ideas workshop in Barcelona and two different points along the Thames. It’s all here, together with very varied messages from 15 key members of the team.
We weren’t quite sure how to order them so decided to show them in order of length of service. This means that my homespun interview of Nick while he cooks lunch kicks off and Ali tasting five top Hermitages brings this colourful carousel to a close.
We hope very much you enjoy the videos and that they add to your enjoyment of what we all write.
These videos are in an exciting and entirely new Videos section of the site which you can access via the Videos link in the main menu ribbon at the top of every page. But to save you a click, here is a guide to our contributors' videos, with their date of joining the JancisRobinson.com team.
