Slow Wines come to London

Walter Speller has already written here about Slow Wine 2011, the brand new wine guide from the Slow Food movement that is no longer involved with the old Gambero Rosso annual guide that seems to be undergoing fundamental changes at present.

The English-language edition of Slow Wine 2011 is being launched at a big wine show on Friday 11 March at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London SW1. More than 100 Italian wine producers who have been awarded with a snail symbol by Slow Food 'for vineyard and cellar work in line with the Slow Food philosophy' will be there and there will be a chance to taste some of their finest wines.

The tasting will be open to the public, as well as press and trade, from 4 pm.
