When storms hit US wine regions, one can count on wine journalists to contact producers in search of a 'sky is falling' story. For East Coast growers and winemakers, the skies remained remarkably clear until after the completion of the 2012 October harvest, yet Superstorm Sandy found a way to mess with them anyway.
